Breakfast also lacked savory choices, which left many feeling unfulfilled after the sweet offerings. The room itself in one instance felt overly crowded with unnecessary furniture, detracting from the comfort of the space.

Positive, The breakfast here is a standout, with handmade cakes and freshly cooked scrambled eggs. We were upgraded to the Don Carlos Suite, which was an unexpected delight. I really enjoyed our spacious Double Room 'Picard de Phélippeaux', which offered a luxurious vibe and an elegantly styled interior. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, featuring a stunning spread that included fresh juices and an array of pastries, perfect for fueling a day of wandering around the nearby Cathedrale St-Etienne and the beautiful Jardin de l'Archeveche.
